Lloyd Alter, of TreeHugger fame, wrote an awesome profile of me and my efforts to advance resilience in The Guardian. Titled “Finding Solutions for Urban Resilience on a Farm in Vermont,” this is the first of what will be a regular series of profiles about people working to advance urban resilience. I think Lloyd did a awesome job at concisely presenting the key tenets of resilient design in a way that is both engaging and informative—even if some of the details of our efforts aren’t quite in place yet (like our food self-sufficiency and our resilient water system)!

For years, Lloyd has been one of the clearest communicators on issues related to sustainability and resilience. I’m thrilled that The Guardian is running this series of profiles. Here’s a link to the article.
