Consulting

Collapsed electrical power transmission pylons in Québec after the Ice Storm of January 1998. Power was lost in a large swath of the New England states and eastern Canadian provinces, endangering human life and safety in mid-winter conditions. The storm led to changes in electric utility grid planning and in regional emergency preparedness.

Consulting is provided on a fee basis to municipalities, institutions, agencies, and other entities.

RDI offers a unique perspective on how to achieve resilience, and we are pleased to offer these services, on a limited basis, to appropriate agencies and organizations.

This is one important way that RDI is advancing its mission.
